I have a question if you get a letter that says your payment will be in the bank such and such day.  Why wouldn't it be in the bank on that specific day?  Why would you say one thing and do another?  I'm just curious!!!

Backpay payments typically take up to 2-3 days after the stated date to show up. It has to do with bank processing times.  With regular payments, they send the deposit info to the bank in advance with the date to apply it.  But backpay they send when complete so the bank needs to receive & process it.

Regular monthly payments will show up on the stated date.

A payment being at the bank.is not the same as,the money being in your account.
