I feel people on dialysis should not receive cdr's but for those of us that are not on dialysis and are over 62 it's still pretty rare ( but it does happen) to receive a cdr. I am going by the poll numbers and what i have read here on the forum. Am i correct to assume this ? You know what they say when you assume something oh well. I am coming up on my 62nd b.d. in November.

I will be 62 in October and was told by an SSA rep a year ago that I am scheduled for a three year review next month.  A second rep had said "it's impossible to tell" when I asked when my next CDR would be done, so I just have to wait it out.  I was supposed to be classified as MINE, according to a senior level analyst and POMS.

For what its worth, I did Peritoneal Dialysis at home for 7 years. Due to complications I had to switch to in clinic Hemo Dialysis about a year ago. The Hemo Dialysis totally wipes you out for a day or so on treatment days. The Peritoneal Dialysis was a lot gentler as far as side effects. I think the Hemo does a better job of cleaning the blood though. I've still not had a single CDR. I'll be 63 next May.

I am also like a couple of you , turning 62 in November.
I have never had a long form but have prepared myself that I may have one coming. My disability was approved in December of 2008 and I am on the 3 year MIP . I have had short form cdrs coming in  October - I am on an Apple mobile device so think my longer post did not come through.

My Dr said they would help me with it
Sending good thoughts to everyone

I just looked on my CD, which thanks again to this forum, I was able to get into and see I should be having a CDR this month.  I will make a follow-up post if or when that happens.

I will be 62 in like 5 weeks i am on a 3 year diary was supposed to get it last October it never came. I am wondering if it will come this October. Maybe just maybe they are not sending them out to anyone a few months or weeks away from there 62nd birthday. Who knows we can only hope right. I just can't wait until i get to the point where cdr's are just a bad memory and not aways wondering when one will reach my mailbox. 😲

I was MINE when I was approved.  I received a short form at 57. The letter I received stated I would be reviewed again in 3 years. I never received another CDR. I am 68 now

I will be 61 in early November. Looking back at my records it has been almost 5 years since  my last Short form CDR. I also had a short form CDR about 8 years ago. I was told I was MINE back then and was on a 3 year review schedule. I now live outside the US as an expat. In all likelyhood If I do not get one this month I doubt I get another one. I have read that the Federal Benefits Unit in Warsaw Poland does CDRs for expats in Eastern Europe. I have never recieved anything from them since moving here except a letter telling me my payment date was changed from the 2nd Wednesday of the month to the 3rd day of the month. I have never heard of any expats on SSDI getting a CDR that live outside the US.  I have asked many over the years and not one has that I asked said they have. Hopefully it remains that way for me until my FRA.
