I called the local SSA office today.  They said my short form was received, but did not say if it was online or mailed in form.  The lady was really nice.  She told me if any more information was needed that they would call me.  I asked if there was any information about a 454 form.  She said no.  That if they were going to terminate my benefits I'd get a form telling me.  And since my file says continue benefits I am good.  So,  am I going to get a long form?  I have no idea.  I want to be optimistic, but it's hard until that letter is in my hands.

If this is really what she said to you, it means that your benefits are continuing and you won't be getting the long form. You should normally get your deferral letter soon.

I sure hope so. The stress of waiting and wondering sure keeps a person with chrons in the bathroom more than one would like haha.  Just had to add some humor to the situation.
