Question for the beyond
« on: June 20, 2022, 06:22:29 pm »
I have been receiving benefits for about a year and a half. I'm currently on SSDI, but the problem is I don't know how many work credit had. My question is, can your SSDI be cut? If so, what is the next step?  Thanks

Your benefits are based upon your earning record. Unless there is a major problem with said earning record, you'll not be cut.
Have you checked your earning record on myssa?

On the other side, after working during my time on on ssdi from age 58 thru age 66, once I reached full retirement age my retirement benefit was raised significantly over what I received on ssdi.

Best wishes,

BRBB

That's interesting! Were you working under or above SGA?
