still waiting for first decision

I live in maryland been waiting since june 2009,.My last up date the examiner told my wife that doctor on her unit was reviewing the file.she did call back to see if i ever received treament from a clinic that was in my phycirist notes.She also told my that if she needs to send me to a doctor she would make arrangements for one to come to my house.anyone know how much longer. ???

It took me 4 months to get my denial letter.Sounds like you are a bit overdue. Have you tried calling your local office?I got more answers from them then the 800 number. 
I have never heard about a Psychiatrist coming to your house to see you.Are you unable to travel?Usually they will pay for travel arrangements for you if you don't have a car unless you are bedridden then I guess they will send someone to see you.

filed since june dds got information in november do you know of any who waited this long for first decision and what was out come.

What information did you get in November? 
If it is not too personal to share what is your case about?
I heard pretty quickly that it was a no, it only took about 2 months I think.
I do think that alot more people are filing now though and that might slow things down a bit but if you heard something in November then maybe they only got your full file then and started processing it. 
IF that is the case then you are on schedule for about 2 to 3 months and should hear something by the end of February.
