More important information needed after CE?
« on: July 03, 2022, 07:11:50 am »
Hi all.

Reapplied 12-6-21 for mental. I must have had enough information in that department because I wasn't sent for a mental exam, but a physical on 6-25-22.

Yesterday(7-2-22), I received a letter from the DDS office and thought it was my denial, but it wasn't. The letter says, "After reviewing your file, we need some more important information to process your claim. Please call me as soon as possible."

Do I need to submit anything else on my end? Any advice?

Yes, you need to contact them on Tuesday (because Monday is a holiday) and find out what information they need.  If it cannot be provided over the phone, then mail or fax the info as soon as possible after talking to them.

We cannot tell you what they need from the wording of that letter - but they want something from you.

Called and spoke with my examiner. I received this letter because I was a couple days late submitting the paperwork saying I would attend the CE exam. There was some miscommunication, but all my paperwork is in and I was told to disregard the letter.
