Do you know what, Mousey? I hadn't even noticed.

But, I did notice your new avatar - I love it.   :D

Mousey, I'm sorry, I noticed....but I figured you knew better than me and maybe there was another name for it! I think "Post Traumatic Stress" is the most important part...then Disorder, Syndrome, Mayhem...they all apply!

I was just telling Dee that I have never stayed long enough to even have a "real" diagnosis (which might hurt my SSDI case) other than clinical depression and GAD. I peeped the words "There is evidence of trauma" in the report from the pain psych and my heart kind of stopped. I think that might be what subconsciously brought me to mouth the words to my therapist. That was 2 weeks ago and I'm kind of afraid to see her this week!

To new beginnings!

Dragon Fly...you have to keep going to those appts.. Get it all down in record. You have to. See I didn't either. Maybe if I had been going for help for a few yrs would have made for a different outcome for me. But you have that chance. If it's going to be the end of Jan before they even start reviewing your case, you will have documentation to send in from the Psychiatrist. As hard as it may be, you are doing the right thing and I am so proud of you. And tomorrow, your Hip Dr. You don't know how many times I just want to throw up my hands, cancel that appt. but WE just have to keep pushing, and pushing each other. I"m here for you, all the way!!! :)

Thank you Mousey, actually I've been wondering....anything new I get, will it be like your case where they don't even include it? Tomorrow is December 1st and that was the first day I was told they ****Might**** open my case so I will call Thursday when I'm submitting a copy of my last CA State Disability stub and whatever else I might have from the hip surgeon.

Thank you, I never had the courage to speak about things and not only the things that had been done to me, but the things I did, or almost did. I had a divine intervention but let's just say I was on a really bad path for a while and I shouldn't be alive today. See I was really good at torturing myself for all the bad things I have done but never could acknowledge the things that happened when I was young and how they shaped my future.

I can't help but think that all of you have helped nudge me off that ledge, because I have no other explanation.  :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-*
Love,
