I am not sure about the signature, but other than the fact that mine was
 transferred from the Tupelo, MS office, my letter was the same.
Dated April 11, 2011. But I received it on 4/8, and it was postmarked
4/5/11 I think.

Sorry, I forgot about that, mine was dated May 3rd, postmarked May 11th from zip code 21244, which I just searched > ZIP Code 21244 - WINDSOR MILL MD. So confusingly weird! Addressed in VA, mailed from MD 8 days later? I think that I received it on the 12th or 13th, smacking myself for not thinking to write dates of received mail now, OUCH! That will teach me!

Hey Wanda58,
  Welcome to the site.   It just makes my day to see somebody else that might be able to get more info. on the VSU process?  They say, 'there's strength in numbers'?  All of us who have received these letters are 'in the dark'.  So far, there have been no definite outcomes?  We are just patiently waiting.... and waiting.....and waiting?
  I have not talked to my lawyer since I hired him in January.  I have talked to his 'ASSistant'!   She knows less than me!  I think this VSU deal is so new that our lawyers want to avoid discussing it???
  As far as I am concerned, it's just another way for SSA to shuffle some papers, delay decisions, and keep us hanging on, and watching the mailbox?  It was supposedly designed to speed up some of the claims.....but I haven't seen any proof of that, just by talking to people on this forum.
  If it's any comfort, you are not alone.   Please let us know if you get any 'scoop' on the VSU stage?
